This enchanting town with a population of 77…or 81 (give or take) draws visitors from around the country and around the world, celebrated for its beauty, history, performing and visual arts, and extreme shopping.

When the biannual Antiques Fair is in full swing, Round Top hosts tens of thousands of bargain-hunters seeking hidden treasure.

Round Top and surrounding towns have much to offer—particularly a friendly smile, a hearty handshake and a slower, easy-going pace. No need to hurry when you’re here (unless you’re eager to beat the dinner rush at Royers Round Top Café).

Area shopkeepers, restauranteurs, gallery owners, artisans, musicians and townsfolk are happy you’re here, and hope you’ll take the time to explore, browse, look, listen, laugh, relax and enjoy.

Held each spring and fall, the Round Top Antiques Fair features thousands of merchants spread out over four small towns: Round Top, Warrenton, Carmine and Shelby.

With 80 acres of restored buildings including a concert hall, the Festival-Institute at Round Top provides residence for international musicians who perform in concerts held throughout the year.

Shakespeare-in-Performance at the Winedale Historical Center is a University of Texas program. For more than 35 years, students and audiences have come together to experience Shakespeare’s living art.

Henkel Square is a collection of farmhouses and outbuildings that illustrate the utilitarian designs of the German and Anglo craftsmen who built them.

Featured on CBS Sunday Morning and the Food Network, and reviewed by a number of Texas and national publications, Royers Round Top Cafe; is a local institution. From its world-famous pies to the “OMG” entrees, Royers is a can’t-miss destination.
