Round Top antique show — where to stay

Round Top Antique Show Lodging

Steps from the Show, Not Miles Away

Round Top Inn is located in downtown Round Top — the heart of the antique show corridor. Major venues like Marburger Farm, Blue Hills, The Compound, and The Arbors are a 2–10 minute drive. Shops and galleries in downtown Round Top are a short walk.

Most show visitors stay 30–60 miles away in Austin or Houston and make the long drive daily. Staying at Round Top Inn means you're already there — first through the gates on opening day, back for lunch without losing a parking spot, and done for the day when you're done, not when traffic allows.

Thirteen guestrooms. Complimentary hot breakfast every morning. Free parking. And a front porch where you can sort through your finds at the end of the day.

Why Staying on-Site Changes Everything

🌅

First Through the Gate

Opening day at Marburger and Blue Hills, the best pieces go fast. Staying locally means you can be there the moment gates open — not arriving after a 90-minute drive.

🍳

Breakfast Included

A full hot breakfast every morning before you head out to shop. No hunting for a restaurant on a crowded show morning.

🏠

Drop Off and Go Back

Large finds you buy early can come back to the Inn before you keep shopping. No stuffed car, no decision about what to leave behind.

🌙

No Night Drive

After a full day on your feet in October heat, the last thing you want is a 90-minute highway drive. Walk to dinner. Walk back. Done.

How to Make the Most of Show Week

01

Book 2–3 months in advance for fall show weekends.

Lodging in Round Top fills up faster than any other show week. Even mid-week nights sell out. If you know your dates, book immediately.

02

Come Thursday or Friday, not Saturday.

Saturday is the most crowded day on the corridor. Thursday and Friday have better parking, better selection, and more relaxed dealers. Many experienced shoppers skip weekends entirely.

03

Start at a curated venue, then hit the fields.

Marburger, Blue Hills, and The Arbors calibrate your eye. After you've seen what quality looks like, the Warrenton fields make more sense. Don't start in the fields — you won't know what's priced right.

04

Use Round Top Finder to plan your route.

48 venues across 11 miles is not walkable. The Round Top Finder app and website let you browse venues by style, save the ones you want to hit, and map your route. Download it before you arrive — cell service in Round Top is notoriously spotty.
